Coonville Creek, St Francois State Park, is located on the eastern edge of the Missouri Ozarks. The park is known for the Big River that costs through it. My favorite place is this small creek which flows into the Big River. Few people explore the creek and I. often have it to myself. This painting is a sunrise scene on the tiny creek.
