Description
This painting is not based on a photograph. Instead it is based on memories from hundreds of photography trips throughout the Ozarks.
The Ozarks will never be noted for millions of acres of row crops. The land is just to rocky with small valleys and lots of hilly forests. Farmers clear a few acres any place they can and plant grasses to feed cattle. Several times every summer farmers bale tons of hay from these small fields to feed their cattle during the winter months. Growing grass, bales of hay and cattle are seen throughout the Ozarks.
Ozark country is 12X9 Acrylic on canvas. created using palette knives.
